“Confidants Journey to La Union”

From visiting the Immuki Island, checking in at Thunderbird Resorts, meditating at Macho Temple, jogging at Poro Point Baywalk, dining in at Halo-Halo de Iloko, sightseeing at San Vicente, and lastly swimming at Acapulco Beach Resort. Follow us on our journey that is filled with laughters and excitement…

Everything starts from the coastal island of Balaoan, La Union, there is a newest tourist destination called Immuki Island. It is a 3 hour drive from Baguio City to Paraoir, Balaoan, La Union. The view was indeed mesmerizing that makes us wanna stay forever. The tour guide was very great. He accommodate us in their own houses, took pictures, and lead to the island. He is also a great story teller, why did i say so? Because every time our eyes caught some beautiful scenery, he told us the story behind it.

Around 2:00 pm when we arrived at the island. It is very funny to know that we will be crossing the river to get to the island of immuki, immubet and bimmuto. As an Igorot people, the names of the island are all incredible. We tend to smile always thinking how the island got it’s name

*As the old folks said, it is high tide during mornings and low tide during afternoons. Even though we did not raft, crossing the river is more fun.*

Encountered different species for the first time that really scared us..

Our friend Rosinee thought that she would be drowned. Her expression seemed so cute. She is like a cry baby..

After the best encounter at the Immuki Island, we headed at Inasal to fill our hungry tummies.

Then dubbed as the Santorini of Asia, here comes Thunderbird Resorts. A perfect place that offers a unique accommodation experience and overlooking the ocean.

At Macho Temple, we find it as the perfect place to meditate and relax..

DAY 2 CONTINUING THE JOURNEY
Having fun at Thunderbird Resort and Casinos and at Acapulco

6:00 we had our break fast at the OLives Restaurant for 2 nights we avail for their free breakfast inclusion, mas makakamura kasi kaysa mag plated braekfast kami. After ng breakfast syempre ligo ligo.

9:30 nagpunta kami sa Halo-Halo De IloKo 20-30 minutes ang byahe kung alam nyo yung way and kung hindi trafic.

we cant explain what made the halo halo delicious and interesting but the taste was really really good, at first I thought it has coconut milk but the staff said its just evaporated milk, the ube ice cream is home made so maybe that is one of the reason. We also tried their Pancit Canton and it was also delicious.

we ordered their best seller and their pancit canton. From the moment we step out of the car and saw the enchanting place to the Halo Halo experience was excellent.

for a group of six we only paid PHP 780.00
It is a must to visit the place if your in San Fernando La Union and you will not regret trying it. We stayed their for almost 2 hours…. so nag stay kami don hangang 1:00 para para an din para tumagal kami sa kinauupuan namin.

Just a tip for a travelers out there like us better to go to a restaurant sa mga oras na hindi Peak Hours tulad ng 9:00 to 11:00 and 2:00 to 5:00. Mas may time kau na mag pa picture and to interview the staff about sa establishment

After namin kumain sa Halo-Halo De Iloko nagpunta na kami sa San Vicente para mamasyal. Given na na pag sinabing La Union magsasawa ka talaga sa Beach. Marami ang pwedeng pag take an ng photo don pero kung gusto nyo ng instagramable and facebookable ihanap nyo yung angle ng camera.

After sa San Vicente nagpunta kami sa Isang KOrean Restaurant para mag dinner. We all ordered a Beef Bulgogi with a side dishes of kimchi, sweetened potato,meatloaf and egg roll costing php 175.00..

After our Dinner we headed to our Chosen Hotel Para matolog.

DAY 3 UNENDING JOURNEY
having fun again at Thunderbird Resorts And Casinos and meeting new friends at Acapulco.

A usual breakfast ulit sa Olives Restaurant then we stayed at our room to relax while waiting for the check out time which is 12:00 noon. Nag wifi, nag kwentohan, nagpunta sa pool, naglibot-libot sa boung thunderbird para malibang.
